Influencer Apologizes For Leaving Child Alone In Hotel Room

The facilitator Taleigha Skye she talked about the visions she got since she left her child alone in the hotel room.
Skye, 24, took to Instagram on Sunday, April 19, to apologize for leaving her 6-month-old son, Haze, alone in her Bali hotel room while she went for a massage.
“I want to talk about what has spread on the Internet,” he wrote on his Instagram story. “I made a bad decision, and I take full responsibility for it. Even though I was only meters away from the locked lounge and I was under constant surveillance, I can see that this did not make the situation safe.”
Skye, who shares Haze, and son Evi, 4, and Matthew Reidhe continued, “We have a lovely babysitter? here in Bali who was unavailable that day. This is not fair, just context.”
He concluded by writing, “I understand the seriousness of my actions and can say with certainty that this is the first and last time this has happened.”
Skye’s message comes after she faced criticism online for leaving her child alone in a bedroom. In deleted TikTok, did you explain that you are out? a massage at the hotel’s spa while Reid is out with Evi. Fans shared their thoughts on Reddit on Saturday, April 18.
“Normally you love her content, but she left her baby alone in their hotel in a third country while she went to get a foot massage?? That’s crazy,” wrote another. A second added, “Omg my jaw was on the floor.” Another person commented, “Some influencers are very comfortable with what they show online.”

Skye is not the first presenter to face criticism for appearing to leave their children alone on holiday.
In September 2024, Matt again Abby Howard shared on Instagram that they took their children, Griffin, 3, and August, 2, on a trip that their children did not enjoy.
“So we ended up taking them for 5 nights and it was obvious they weren’t happy about that; so, we weren’t either,” Abby, 27, captioned the post. So THEN we changed our dinner time to AFTER their bedtime and FaceTimed the monitors while we ate. And that worked out much better for everyone! “…
The couple then denied allegations that their young children were left alone on the TikTok journey. “We take our role as parents very seriously and we love our children more than anything in the world. We are very protective of our children,” said Matt, 27. “People start to speculate and believe that we left our children alone in their homes – and that’s completely untrue.”
He added, “We had our children with us all the time on this boat.
