Shannon Elizabeth broke the silence on her split from her husband Simon Borchert.
“I’ve been separated since September of last year, and this has been a conscious, ongoing process – not something that happened a few days ago,” Elizabeth, 52, told me. Us Weekly in a statement on Thursday, April 16. “The logical episodes are behind me, and only rituals remain.”
He added, “This is a new chapter for me, and one that I’m really excited about.
Us can confirm that Elizabeth quietly filed for divorce from Borchert before announcing she was joining OnlyFans earlier this week.
Elizabeth met Borchert, a conservationist from South Africa, in 2015 before she took the vows in 2021.

“I’ve spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people control the narrative and the outcome of my work,” Elizabeth told the outlet. “This new chapter is about changing that, showing a sweet side of me that you’ve never seen, and being close to my fans.”

Before confirming her split from Borchert, Shannon appeared to hint that she was starting a new chapter in life with a cryptic post on Instagram.
