The Liverpool star looked like the new Szoboszlai last week, now he has to be released

In fairness to Arne Slot, he was not wrong in his assessment of how Liverpool were beaten at the AMEX on Saturday afternoon.
The Dutch coach was right to point to Hugo Ekitike’s injury early on as slippage and slippage and presence in the final third. He was also right to call attention to the injuries to Mohamed Salah and Alisson Becker earlier in the week, ruling them both out.
The fact that Liverpool had only played three days earlier? It is understandable. Check, check, check. However, the thing is, these recommendations are good if they are separated, but not every week, sometimes twice a week, like this week. Critics would call them excuses, and in that, their opinion will be shared by many traveling Liverpool fans.
Liverpool have been terrible this season, and no reduction can justify the constant efforts on the pitch, the lack of understanding and flexibility. This will be Slot’s downfall, because in fairness to FSG, they always bite the bullet in the end and take action, even if it takes them a long time to get there.
They have finally fixed Jurgen Klopp’s rusty midfield, and Dominik Szoboszlai has been a stalwart of this struggling side this season, he praised for deceiving Brighton, and none of his peers stepped up.
Szoboszlai’s Brighton maximizes errors
It’s a pity that Danny Welbeck and James Milner formed the backbone of Brighton who beat Liverpool at the AMEX. Combined, England’s oldest players are 75 years old.
Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, and, on this occasion, Szoboszlai were taken by Premier League veterans, who surpassed Liverpool and became the 27th team to do so in the league this season. The champions have played 31 games.
Liverpool aren’t working hard enough, but that can’t be said of Szoboszlai, whose relentless Gerrard-esque presence has set Liverpool free on any occasion.
However, he was up against Fabian Hurzeler’s high-octane outfit, defending like a demon but unable to influence the Reds’ attack, as it were, and make things happen.

This is becoming very worrying. Liverpool may actually play in Europe’s second-tier competition next season. In fact, it is not a mystery that the Slot team should fall to the Conference League.
They won’t say they deserve better. Too many celebrities have been scorned, showing off their glitter but toiling to little success, with the usual blame for the Brighton bug.
Slot should drop the Liverpool man
The 4-0 thrashing of Galatasaray on Wednesday evening showed what this Liverpool side can do. Maybe that’s actually a sign that Slot needs to go, because he failed to get a song out of his players all season.
Florian Wirtz, for example, played very fast against the Turkish team, creating chance after chance and dancing in the final third. In addition, he was praised for his Szoboszlai-like performance, and won six duels and managed when his team needed him most.
He was a monster v Galatasaray: Liverpool got another Szoboszlai
Liverpool managed to secure a place in the next round of the Champions League last night.
But they also needed him at Brighton, and his effort flew in the face of that impressive display a few days ago. Where is the consensus? Why can’t Liverpool play well? These are the questions that have undoubtedly caused a few sleepless nights for Slot and the partnership, with Wirtz’s poor season exacerbating the broader issues.
Physically, the German player has not looked good all year. He is only 22 years old, but he came to be paid British money and failed to even swing a ball.
Against Brighton, it was the same in the Premier League, with interest gathered for a few days before evaporating. More of this in Slot. Wirtz was one of the Bundesliga’s hottest strikers last season, but he was hammered and bowed out.
His performance at Brighton left a lot to be desired: he was wasteful in front of goal and lacked the kind of intelligence Liverpool need to get the three points. Or one point. He failed to create a big chance, as has often been the case this season, and given the weight of Liverpool’s schedule after the looming international break, there is a strong case for him to be dropped.
He should be doing more, but Wirtz is a special footballer, and he showed against Gala that he can play a role similar to that of his Hungarian counterpart. Doing so with consistency, however, has caught him off guard for the Anfield side.
Described as the Premier League’s most “lightweight” by writer Jishnu Sanyal, the German has been underused this season, but has also been frustrated by his £116m price tag.
Beating Galatasaray in the Champions League is already a false dawn. Tenacity is not the only weapon this squad can use, and in that, Brighton put them to the sword.
Just imagine, for a moment, how the Reds will face Paris Saint-Germain, who are waiting in the next round of European competition.
The likes of Wirtz, sadly, won’t stand a chance, and for that reason, he needs to be taken out of the firing line.
Liverpool’s £36m star is now a bigger liability than Salah
Liverpool need to make changes again in the summer transfer market.
