Action movies are taking the top spots on Netflix’s movie chart this week.
This shouldn’t be too surprising, because action flicks are often among the most popular Netflix movies every day.
However, the Watch Us options for the three most popular movies on Netflix right now that you need to watch are full of older stars and actors.
Our first selection is a new science fiction film, followed by an imagined historical drama. To close the week, we revisit the blockbuster.
‘War Machine’ (2026)
Shortcut star Alan Ritchson is making a guest appearance on a rival broadcaster for his Netflix original film adaptation War Machine. Ritchson plays a sergeant who goes by the moniker 81. After losing his brother and other members of his unit in Afghanistan, 81 is reluctant to accept a leadership role. But that respect is a mutual trust during training that takes a strange turn.
When the new 81st squad encounters a downed ship of unknown origin, it transforms into a killing machine that can dispatch even the most well-prepared soldiers. It came down to 81 keeping most of his team members alive while also trying to destroy the machine. However, conventional military tactics will not work against this machine, and 81 is in the fight of his life.

‘Nuremberg’ (2025)
Nuremberg it takes place after World War II, as many high-ranking Nazi war criminals have been caught and the full extent of the Holocaust has come to light. Göring has his own agenda, and he will not entertain any attempts to make him appear guilty for what he has done.

‘Jurassic World Dominion’ (2022)
