A spokesperson for the former Migos rapper (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) confirmed Complex on April 6 that Offset was the victim of a shooting near the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
The police department of Seminole, Florida said later Page Six that two people were arrested in connection with the incident of violence. Law enforcement also revealed that no life-threatening injuries occurred.

Said the spokesperson for Offset Complex that the rapper was hospitalized in stable condition following the shooting in Hollywood, Florida.
“We can confirm that Offset was shot and is currently in the hospital receiving medical attention,” a rep for the rapper said on April 6, 2026. “He is stable and being monitored closely.”
On April 10, a spokesperson for Offset confirmed it Us Weekly that you are out of the hospital.
“Offset is out of the hospital, and he’s up and walking,” his rep said Us. “We are very grateful to the doctors, nurses and all the hospital staff who took such good care of him.”

“We are aware of an incident that occurred in the area after seven o’clock on Monday evening outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to a person who was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood,” said a police spokesperson. Page Six.

The Seminole Police Department told the newspaper that the rapper was involved in a fight before Offset was shot. (Us Weekly has reached out to Lil Tjay’s rep for further comment.)
Lil Tjay’s attorney, Dawn M. Floriodenied involvement in the incident in a statement on Instagram despite speculation to the contrary.
“We are issuing this release regarding false rumors that Lil Tjay was involved in a shooting that occurred in the Valet Area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood there. [resulted] in the non-life-threatening injuries of Offset, a former member of Migos,” read: “Lil Tjay has not been shot, and Lil Tjay has not been charged with the shooting. Any reporting to the contrary is false. We encourage people to contact trusted media sources, and verify the accuracy of any reporting, before sharing false information or repeating baseless rumours.”

TMZ reported that Offset was hanging out with fans at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino before the incident. She has been described as making him “relaxed and friendly,” with no obvious signs of trouble.

FBI Begins Investigation
The FBI is seeking information on the shooting that left Offset injured and has released new photos showing the vehicles and people allegedly involved. According to the FBI, a large group of people attacked Offset, and one of them fired a single shot that hit the rapper.
The people failed to try to steal the Offset watch before fleeing in two Chevrolet SUVs, the FBI said.
