Eric Swalwell’s Prime Video has resurfaced amid allegations of misconduct

A very brief appearance from former Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., on Prime Video’s “Jury Duty: Company Retreat” surprised some viewers following allegations of sexual misconduct and harassment that led to his resignation.
“That’s amazing,” one user wrote on X, saying he had no idea the former congressman, whom he called a “disgrace,” appeared as a teacher on the show.
On Threads, one user described seeing Swalwell on the show as “very uncomfortable.”
Another, in response to someone who asked why no one expressed concern about Swalwell’s appearance, said they were happy that his airtime had been cut.

According to entertainment news site Decider, Swalwell’s appearance took place around 18 minutes into Episode 8 of “Company Retreat.”
There is no meeting that Swalwell presents in the episode, but he appears in front of the cast and asks if anyone has any questions, the source said.
After calling one actor who asked, “Can you talk about the negative influence of money in politics?” Swalwell put his hands in his pockets and sighed.

Filming of the show lasted almost two years before the latest allegations against Swalwell came to light, said Decider.
Amazon did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Swalwell’s ugly appearance became a story on the street as the former congressman is facing a number of allegations of sexual misconduct and harassment from many women who have recently come forward to tell about their experiences.
After the allegations, Swalwell stopped his own campaign for governor of California and resigned his seat in Congress.
Although he denies these allegations of misconduct, he has admitted that he has made mistakes in the past.

“I am deeply sorry to my family, staff and voters for the mistakes I have made in the past,” Swalwell said in a statement announcing his resignation..
“I will fight serious, false allegations against me. However, I must answer for myself and the ownership of the mistakes I have made.”

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating multiple allegations against Swalwell, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to Fox News Digital.
District attorneys in Los Angeles and New York have also launched their own investigations.
