Joseph Duggar Details ‘Sad’ Prison Conditions

Joseph Duggar he talked about his experience in prison when he spoke to his wife on the phone Kendra Duggar.
“I felt it [the] two nights ago, like last night, but two nights before that, there [were] people all night, and it was loud and stuff, but I didn’t sleep well,” said Joseph, 31, to Kendra, 27, during a phone conversation during a recent stay at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas, according to audio obtained by. “Sometimes I don’t even feel like I’m thinking whenever they’re around,” he said, noting that the sound was “like a hammer being hit.”
In the second call with Kendra, Joseph revealed that he could not close his eyes as another inmate threw a “rage.”
“I didn’t sleep much last night [were] some sweating occurs. All day yesterday, there is one young man with this whole issue. I thought I was waiting until you fell asleep,” he said according to the additional noise Ithi received. “He processed everything, then I fell asleep for a while. I don’t know how long, really, but for a while.”
Joseph added that there was another person who threw “two or three hours every night.”
“He was talking a lot, and they would have to take him down all the time, and all the other words were F-types,” he said.
Joseph also recounted more anger that he allegedly felt while in custody.
“The man who is locked up in one of the neighboring cells, in the cell, had to be checked. He has been tired and angry all day,” he said. He’s probably fun, except he’s rude. So, I focus on my Bible reading.”
Last month, Joseph was arrested in Arkansas on March 19. He was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior involving abuse of a victim under the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior by a person 18 or older after the 14-year-old victim appeared before the police accusing Joseph of molesting her when she was 20 years old in Florida City in Panama in the year 2.
Joseph was returned to Florida earlier this week, where he pleaded not guilty. He was released on $600,000 bail.
In addition to the molestation charge, Joseph and Kendra were both charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, second, and four counts of false imprisonment, second. These charges are unrelated to the alleged molestation.
