Phoebe Dynevor of Bridgerton indicated that she has not been asked to return

Phoebe Dynevor It was silent as to why he didn’t come back Bridgerton when he revealed that he has not been asked to return.
“When the first season came out, they didn’t know what they needed to play,” Dynevor, 30, said. Collider on Saturday. April 11. “We’re the ones who got away – in a way.”
Dynevor, who shared the screen in season 1 with him Regé-Jean Page, talked about the possibility of her playing the role of Daphne again, adding, “I can only speak for myself, I will always come back if asked.”
He went on to say: “I haven’t received a call yet, if I get that call I will be there if I can.”
Dynevor’s understanding comes after the runner Jess Brownell hinted at the possible return of Daphne and Simon (Page).
“We’d like to bring them back at some point, but I think, strategically, we want to make sure we bring them back if we have something good for them,” he said. Variety in February. “Even if they come back to speak at the funeral [in season 4] and you just show that they were there, it just wouldn’t feel right for a lot of reasons.”
He added: “So I think in my mind, the camera doesn’t capture everything [this season] — it’s television. But we would like to find time to bring everyone back at some point in the future.”

Brownell also addressed the rumors that Daphne and Simon will be ousted again.
“We are not interested in repeating the characters,” he continued. “I think it would feel disrespectful to everything that Regé and Phoebe established in season 1, and all the great work they did with those characters.”
Bridgerton, based on a series of books written by Julia Quinnfollows members of the wealthy Bridgerton family as they search for love in 19th century London. Season 1 focuses on Daphne and Simon’s unexpected connection.
After the show premiered, viewers loved Page, 38, and her character, which made her departure all the more shocking. Netflix announced in April 2021 that Page would not be reprising her role as the Duke of Hastings despite plans for Daphne to appear in future seasons.
That same month, Page noted that Simon had always been offered to him as an abbreviated role, telling Variety, “It’s a one-season arc. It’s going to have a beginning, a middle, an end — give us a year. [I thought] ‘That’s interesting,’ because then it feels like a limited series. I go in, put my hand in, and the Bridgerton family continues. “
Page stood by his decision even though fans came out publicly expressing their disappointment in not seeing Simon’s case. Season 2 featured more cameos from Daphne, who was accompanied by her and Simon’s son, Auggie.
However, Dynevor later confirmed his exit from the series, which did not appear to be his choice. “Sadly [I’m] not in season 3. Possibly in the future. But season 3, I’m really excited to watch as a viewer,” he told Screen Rant in January 2023 about not being called back into the film.
Bridgerton is currently streaming on Netflix.
