Miranda Lambert says goodbye to her childhood home.
The 42-year-old country singer’s home in Lindale, Texas has been put on the market for $1.59 million by her parents, Rick and Beverly, in partnership with listing agent Lee Trowbridge of Compass.
“Until they moved out about a year ago, this place served as the Lambert family home,” Trowbridge told Mansion Global. “When they lived there, this place was home to many, including those who needed help, or a place to stay.”
According to the outlet, Lambert lived in the home from the age of 14 to 21, and later bought a pink house on the property, “after signing her record deal at age 21.” The country star still owns the pink house.

MIRANDA LAMBERT SAYS ‘ADDICTED’ TO NEW WILD WEST HOBBY GUNS.
Although Lambert did not write his 2009 hit song, The House That Built Me, he has said in many interviews that the song resonated with him and was similar to his real life.
The song tells the story of an old man who returned to his childhood home and asked the current owners if he could move inside, so he could relive the happy times from his childhood.

“It was a run-down farmhouse that my mother somehow turned into a beautiful home. That’s why that song was so special when I heard it, because I lived it,” he told the Southern Living podcast, “Biscuits and Jam” in May 2023.
“That’s when we lost everything, and my parents started over,” he added. “We had to start over and move to a different city, and my mom and dad just rebuilt. I mean, they were like, ‘We’re going to start over and rebuild our lives and get back on our feet.’

She added that when they lived in the farmhouse, “her father decided that his family would never go hungry” and that they would “live off the land,” saying that “that’s exactly what happened.”
The “Tin Man” singer recalled that his father hunted for their food and put in “lots of garden and compost,” adding that they “raised rabbits” and his mother knew everything.

Lambert broke into the music industry in 2003 after placing third on “Nashville Star,” which led to a record deal. He released his first studio album, “Kerosene,” in 2005, which went platinum, quickly cementing his place in the world of country music.
Since then, she has released seven additional studio albums, two of which won the Grammy Award for best country album, and holds the record for most awarded artist at the Academy of Country Music Awards, winning 35, including nine consecutive female vocalist of the year.

Most recently, Lambert collaborated with Kacey Musgraves on a song from Musgraves’ latest album, after the two had been at loggerheads since Lambert recorded “Mama’s Broken Heart” for her 2013 album, after it was released to her without Musgraves’ knowledge, even though she had planned to release it as her first single.
“And in the end, I’m so glad I did it, because it forced me to write ‘Merry Go Round,’ which ultimately made me think more, aesthetically and lyrically, to get my whole thing out, compared to ‘Mama’s Broken Heart,'” Musgraves told NPR in March. “And that ended up going No. 1 for him. So in the end, everybody won because I was able to let something go.”
