David Beckham’s Children Request ‘Rights’ From Knighthood

“The thing that has changed is my paper that I send to people [in] letters of thanks. That’s the only thing that really changed,” Beckham, 51, said on the Friday, March 27, episode of The Game. David he found his heroism since Charles, 77, in November 2025, he soon had to explain to his children that there were no additional benefits.

“I was like, ‘Well, except for the ones you already have, not at all,'” the retired football legend quipped on Friday. “I mean, [the ceremony] it was unbelievable. It was probably the best day of my life except, obviously, when my children were born and when I got married. It was special to receive that.”

David’s sons Romeo and Cruz are both in public they celebrate their father’s honor after the initial announcement of June 2025.

“I’m proud of you, Dad, I love you. Sir David Beckham has a beautiful ring to him!” Cruz wrote on his Instagram Stories, while Romeo added on his page, “So proud of you.”

David, who was awarded an OBE in 2021 from the late Queen Elizabeth IIIhe had wife Victoria and his parents by his side during the investiture ceremony.

“It was everything. We’re both patriotic, we’re proud to be British,” said Victoria as she burst into action. The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in December 2025. According to the former Spice Girl, her husband’s honor was “deserved.”

The eldest son of David and Victoria, Brooklyn, did not publicly acknowledge this fame and was rarely in contact with his family.

“I don’t want to reconcile with my family. I’m not controlled, I’m independent for the first time in my life,” Brooklyn wrote. While David and Victoria have yet to respond to the allegations, they each publicly shared the tributes on social media on Brooklyn’s 27th birthday in early March. A source later told Us Weekly that Brooklyn was “ignoring” the messages.

“He continues to be distant and does not communicate with his parents,” the insider was told only Us earlier this month. “They are trying, but Brooklyn has ignored their efforts.”
