Did Sullivan’s Crossing Have Another Surprising Cast Exit?

In a clip posted on the show’s social media on Thursday, April 2, Lola (Amalia Williamson) appears to confide in Maggie (Morgan Cohenand Sydney (Lindura Sappong) about leaving the place.

“Maybe losing my internship isn’t such a bad thing,” he shared in a glance. “Now there is nothing stopping me from visiting Jacob in Calgary.”

Lola admitted that the “summer game” turned into something else, adding, “I didn’t realize how much I was going to miss him. He invited me to collect samples with him in the Rockies – and I’ve never been outside of Nova Scotia before.”

“We will miss you, Lola,” read the caption of the post, which also included the text, “Did you say goodbye?”

Viewers – at least in the US – will have to wait until later this month to get more clarity on Williamson’s future on the show. While some social media users have responded to comments asking if Lola will be away for a while during Williamson’s pregnancy, others expressed frustration that they won’t get an immediate answer on the actress’ future in the hit series.

Sullivan’s Crossing returns March 22 on CTV. After airing in Canada, the show will air on April 20, 2026, on The CW and then on Netflix, possibly in the summer when the show wraps up on cable.

Before its start, Us Weekly broke the news in March that Patterson, 67, will not reprise his role as Sully when it returns for season 4.

“Sullivan’s Crossing Season 3 ended with Sully going to Ireland, starting a new chapter in his life. Season 4 will pick up the next day, with Sully overseas,” Sullivan’s Crossing executive producer and producer of the show Rome Roth you are only told Us. “Even though he’s not a reality this season, the character remains an important part of the world that has the potential to be included in future seasons if that’s consistent with the art going on.”

In response, Patterson revealed what led to her dramatic departure, writing on Instagram, “The creative differences were unacceptable and I realized with sadness that the show was not something I could agree to continue.

Patterson made it clear that it was not his choice to leave Sullivan’s Crossing.

“It is unfortunate that it is now being said that they are from me/Sully when the truth is completely the opposite, and those who have spoken sadly are also well aware of this fact, and yet they choose to say otherwise,” he continued. “I didn’t mean to make a statement but the fans of the books and the game deserve to know the truth as I have always respected those who support the industry by watching and loving these characters. We are very lucky and blessed to play them and live.”

Seasons 1 to 3 of the Sullivan’s Crossing are currently streaming on Netflix. Season 4 premieres on The CW April 20 at 8 pm ET
