Comedian Tim Dillon aims to revive Meghan Markle’s monarchy, arguing that the Duchess of Sussex failed to build the kind of royal life she seemed to be chasing.
Dillon pondered what Markle’s next move might be during a recent podcast appearance. David Spade pointed out the past success of the Duchess of Sussex in “Suits” and asked why she did not renew her role in “Suits LA” and make “a lot of money” after quitting her job as a working king.
“I think Meghan will eventually get on some kind of talk show,” Dillon said on the “Fly on the Wall with Dana Carvey and David Spade” podcast. “Because she failed the Martha Stewart route, which she wanted. She was singing a jam at Target. She wanted to have the kind of life.”
“Jam was an interesting choice,” added Spade. He joked, “Probably an underserved market. Other than Welch, I can’t think of much.”

“He definitely needs to adjust his strategy,” Dillon explained. “I saw him back in the UK saying, ‘Let’s give it to you again.’
Carvey chimed in, “I think they should go back and shake up the brand.”
But the criticism didn’t end with his lifestyle push, as Dillon argued that his entire approach alienated some viewers.
“I think we’re all tired of his shtick here. I don’t think it worked the way he thought it would,” he said. “I think his idea was to go back to America and say, ‘listen, the British are really bigoted. But they know a lot about dinner parties and I’ve learned that. So I’m here to tell you how to live like a human and what fork to use. You pig, you American pig.’ And I think it sounds like it’s condescending. “
“He had that show on Netflix where he was basically like, ‘Now this, this is what they call sauce. You put your coffee cup in it so it doesn’t spill all over your illegitimate children, you animals.’ I think people were a little turned off by that.”

Dillon previously explained why the former “Suits” actor is one of his favorite comedians in an interview with Fox News Digital.
“I think it’s because he stood out at a time when there was a real history of victimhood,” Dillon said. “And I thought it was a funny way to be a victim, and he found a way to be a victim while he lived in the castle.”

“And I always found that funny,” he continued. “I think he’s a very good comedian. I think there was a real currency to being a victim when he got up, and he became a victim who lives in a castle. married to a prince about the royal wedding, and I thought that was very funny.”
“It’s hard to pull it off,” Dillon added. “He did that, because of his reputation. You know, a lot of people you know said they were victims at the time, they weren’t members of the royal family.”
