Marshals Cast Teases Dutton Ranch Crossover, Defend Romance

During CBS Fest on Wednesday, April 15, Arielle Kebbel measured as possible Yellowstone cameos, tell Us Weekly,”[We need] everything. We can go to other country artists any day. [too]!”
Kebbel remained tight-lipped about a Dutton Ranch crossover but admitted to “rumors.”
“[For Us, the biggest challenge of filming a Yellowstone spinoff] we’re finding a balance of respecting why that’s already been established and knowing that in that legacy, our job is to bring these new characters forward,” he explained. “So it’s honoring what’s already been built but also feeling creative and free enough to bring our characters’ stories forward and hopefully have people join our world.”
Yellowstonewhich is spread from 2018 to 2024, is presented Us in the Dutton family. After the show ended in 2024, CBS expanded the TV spot for it The Marshalsthe following Luke Grimes‘ character Kayce as he leaves the racing life to join the elite unit of the US Marshals.
Then there’s Paramount’s Dutton Ranchshowing Rip (Cole Hauser) and Beth (Kelly Reilly) adapting to life in Texas. Despite being Yellowstone spinoffs, both shows expand with new characters such as Kebbel’s Belle. There are also characters in Marshals that are played with Logan Marshall-Green, Ash Santos, Tatanka Means, Brecken Merrill, Mo Brings More again Gil Birmingham.
Since fans are very attached to The Marshals characters, and form ideas about the characters. The latest episode of the show was a surprise when Belle and Cal’s (Marshall-Green) friendship turned into another as they kissed.
“It wasn’t too early for me, really, because of so much they’ve done before,” Marshall-Green, 49, said. Us on Wednesday. I felt accomplished. I’m actually not that surprised.
Santos, 32, on the other hand, showed her support for the fictional couple, adding, “I was ready. I was happy when I finally saw it in the script. It was time!” Kebbel, on the other hand, was not “surprised” by the continued relationship.
“The only reason I’m not surprised is that I had a meeting with our creator before the season started and he told me.” But we had a really good conversation, and I said, ‘Tell me what I need to know, don’t tell me anything else,'” she recalled. “I didn’t know that was coming, but I really didn’t know much about the backstory, so I liked it because there was this intersection of Arielle and Belle knowing some things, but not everything, which was very true to the story.”
Kebbel admitted he wasn’t thinking The Marshals was good for Belle and Cal as a couple at the moment, noting, “We’re still establishing a team [and] group environment. Obviously, this kiss throws a new layer of awkwardness and emotion into the mix. But I think the best thing about both of them is that they put work first. Where they agree or agree that they have a problem balancing work and family because they care about both. So I think those are the layers that we’re going to see unfold in the coming episodes.”
There is also a possible connection with Kayce and Andrea (Santos).
“I didn’t go there at first either. OK.” But I think it’s really interesting to see that relationship,” he admitted to Us. “They’re polar opposites.”
