Eric Swalwell’s Husband Accuser Threatens Lawsuit

The husband of one of the Eric Swalwellhis accusers have threatened to take legal action if the congressman “disrespects” his wife, Ally Sammarcoamid allegations of sexual harassment and harassing a politician.

“I wish his family the best, and I hope he gets the help he needs,” the former DNC field director said Adam Parkhomenko wrote about X Sunday morning, April 12. “If Eric Swalwell or his attorney says one thing that disrespects my wife, I will be suing him.”

Sammarco is among four women accused Swalwell45, for sexual misconduct and sexual harassment – including a former employee who claims the governor raped her.

Sammarco said in a CNN investigation on Friday, April 10, the politician promised to “share his progress” with other congressional offices before sending “inappropriate” messages on Snapchat. (Sammarco said Swalwell’s messages suggest the couple should “get together and communicate.”)

“I have made it clear that if he believes that anything I said is not true, he should immediately sue me,” added Parkhomenko on Sunday. “As he considers his next steps in the coming days, he must be careful what he chooses. He must resign immediately.”

Us Weekly contacted Swalwell’s director of communications for comment.

Swalwell, elected to represent California’s 14th district in the House of Representatives in 2023, is currently leading the state’s race for governor. He vehemently denied the allegations.

“These allegations of sexual abuse are blatant lies. They are lies. It didn’t happen,” Swalwell said in a social media video Fridaytalking about the allegations. “They never happened. And I will fight them with everything I have.”

He continued, “And they came the night before the election, when I was the frontrunner in the California gubernatorial race. I’m not suggesting in any way that I’m perfect or a saint — I’ve made mistakes in judgment in the past, but those mistakes are between me and my wife. And to her, I’m very sorry for putting her in this position.”

Swalwell is married Brittany Wattswith whom he shares three children, since 2016. Watts has not spoken publicly about the scandal.

Parkhomenko, on the other hand, he shot Swalwell’s denial video after it was posted on social media.

“My wife’s name is Ally Sammarco. You obviously know that, but her name is anonymous,” he tweeted on Friday. “She also went on the record with CNN, so I hope this doesn’t happen to other women and maybe it can help other women come forward. … I’ve been very supportive of you over the years but I’ve learned a lot today too. And you have my full support.”
