Katseye Performs Without Manon Bannerman at Coachella 2026

Katseye hit a pitch to the outside Manon Bannerman at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The five members of the girl group – Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza again Yoonchae Jeung – performed on the first day of the festival in Indio, California, on Friday, April 10. Manon, 23, was noticeably missing from Katseye’s Coachella debut during her ongoing hiatus from the group.

Katseye opened their set by performing her new single “Pinky Up” before entertaining the crowd with “Debut” and “Touch.”

HUNTR/X artists JAY, Audrey Nuna again Rei Ami joined the girl group on stage for a surprise performance of “Golden” from thin KPop Demon Hunters sound track.

Manon’s absence from Coachella comes almost two months after Katseye announced her plans to take a break from the group.

“After open and thoughtful discussions together, we shared that Manon will be taking a temporary break from the band’s activities to focus on her health and well-being,” reads the band’s February statement shared on Weverse social media. “We fully support this decision.”

The group assured fans at the time that the remaining members of Katseye will continue their work despite Manon’s absence.

“Katseye is still committed to showing each other and the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue with scheduled activities at this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right,” the statement continued. “Thank you to our Eyekons for your continued love, patience and understanding.”

Manon also spoke in a statement at the time.

“Hello friends,” he wrote on Weverse. “I want you to hear this from me, I’m healthy, I’m good and I take care of myself. Thank u for checking in! Sometimes things happen out of our full control, but I trust in the big picture. Thank you for standing up for me. I love you endlessly and I can’t wait to see you again.”

Earlier this month, Manon shared an update with fans during her ongoing break from Katseye.

“I am very grateful for all the love and support you have been sending me.” I’m so grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time,” he said of Weverse. “[Katseye’s management] HxG and I have constructive discussions, and I feel supported. I am happy, and I am healthy. I will share more soon. Thank you for always helping me.”

Manon raised eyebrows when she removed “Katseye” from her Instagram bio. Days later, the source was told exclusively Us Weekly on Monday, April 6, that he does not plan to return to the team.

“There are six of us, so obviously not everyone will always talk about everything,” she said. “But I think we’re all there, even though we’ve been learning and we’re finally getting to the point where for the sake of the team, you give and take. You pick your battles.”

Manon added that the band members “have to depend on each other” to cope with the popularity.

“But we have friends who support us and family who support us,” he explained. “It’s something that keeps you humble and focused. Then you have a great therapist.”
