Lambrini Girls Drop Out Of Coachella Due To Brain Injury

The Lambrini Girls pulled out of Coachella 2026 at the eleventh hour out of fear for the singer’s life. Phoebe Lunny.
“Long story short: I broke my neck and suffered a severe brain injury,” Lunny, 27, announced via Instagram on Thursday, April 9. “TLDR: happened in Australia. Misdiagnosed. Late treatment. Doctor’s orders say I can’t fly or work for 6 weeks.”
Lunny has confirmed that the Lambrini Girls are postponing all of their upcoming US concert dates to give her enough time to recover before their UK and European shows in late May go ahead as planned.
The punk singer also admitted that Lambrini Girls’ absence from Coachella will upset fans because “it’s dark times, especially in the states.”
“There are a lot of good people who draw community and lift each other up in the face of fascism,” Lunny wrote. “Making room for subversion and resistance is at the core of what this group is about.”
He went on to say, “Seeing people of all ages, genders and backgrounds come together to sing, lift each other up, sing, cry, scream in both parts happy and angry, is my greatest joy.”
Lunny has assured devoted Lambrini Girls fans that he would have continued with the Coachella 2026 set if it had been possible.
“We got a lot of messages from Coachella, we’re very angry, guys,” Lunny admitted. “We want to be there so badly, if it was a broken leg I would have done Dave Grohl and played it, it’s not something we take lightly and we’re really sad. [where] instead we will play next year … Because my neck and mind, our hands are tied at the moment, but I am lucky and expect a quick recovery.”
He added, “Thank you for always helping us.”

“Justin is very proud of himself Swag albums [released in 2025]so he wants to highlight them, but he also packs his set with old hits that he hasn’t played in years. You know the crowd will want to hear from them,” said the insider Us. “He’s been fine-tuning and changing some things recently this week. It’s all very intense, but the majority of the program is done and over with.”
