Roseanne Barr he opens up about the shocking news he recently received from his doctor.
“This doctor says I have to get my heart checked because it’s damaged,” the former sitcom star said on the Thursday, March 26, episode of the “Roseanne Barr Podcast.”
He continued, “So, now I’m very upset because I said, ‘I need a new doctor.’ He’s always sending me to other doctors to check me out, and I’m like, ‘Why should I go find something wrong when there’s nothing wrong?’ Then I get in shape for surgery and die on the operating table. I mean it doesn’t make sense.”
Barr, 73, said she did not want surgery and would prefer to live out her final days in hospice care.
“I’d rather not be ready for any kind of surgery in my life and just have a heart attack or stroke and be put in the house,” she said. “That’s life. Living in hospice. … That’s all I want. They know you’re dying and they give you morphine.”
In June 2025, Barr opened up about moving to Texas, where he was injured by a tractor while mowing his property.
“I mow a lot. I have an amazing tractor here and I mow. The only problem is that I don’t clear the trees as well as I should and I keep hitting the tree and it’s always hitting me in the head,” he told Fox News Digital.
“So, I’ve had a lot of accidents lately, I had this one tree … I hit it and a big old branch fell on my head and stuck me in my tractor,” he continued. “So, I knew I had to get out of there, and it weighed a hundred pounds.”

Barr told Fox News Digital in June 2025 that he is no longer in contact with his former clients.
“No, I’m not friends with any of them,” he said. “It all happened in the past. I have fond memories of the fun we had – I wish them all the best. And no, we’re not talking. I’ve moved on from that shocking ending and chapter of my life, but you know, I’m not holding them personally or anything, but my God, what fun we had in that game.
“And I’m sorry they apologized for all their selfishness and stupidity to end all of that. F***, but I wish them the best,” he said at the time.
