Kendra Duggar she shared details about her legal counsel to the husband Joseph Duggar in the midst of a child endangerment charge.
According to an audio tape in prison between Joseph and Kendra obtained by People on Monday, March 30, the two had a discussion about their legal representation while Joseph was incarcerated. “Well, it’s not yours, it’s just mine,” Kendra explained, adding that she needed to be represented “for the case we’re carrying with the children and stuff.” She then changed the subject to see how Joseph was living in prison.
Joseph was arrested on March 18 by the Tontitown Police Department in Arkansas. He was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior involving the molestation of a victim under the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior by a person 18 or older.
Joseph’s legal troubles began earlier this month when he was accused by a 14-year-old girl who claimed she was sexually assaulted by the Counting On alum during a family vacation in Panama City Beach in 2020.

After news of Joseph’s arrest broke, Kendra was then arrested in an unrelated matter. She and Joseph were later charged with four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of false imprisonment. (The couple, who married in 2017, share children Garrett, 7, Addison, 6, Brooklyn, 5, and Justus, 3.)
