Jeffrey Donovan of Burn Notice left Hollywood for Colorado

Burn Notification alum Jeffrey Donovan opens up about his decision to leave Hollywood for Colorado.
The 57-year-old actress is married to a Colorado native Michelle Woods in 2012 and said they are happily raising their three children in the province.
“I met my future wife when I was graduating, and she was from Colorado, and when I started visiting there, I just couldn’t stop,” Donovan told Fox News Digital earlier this month. “It’s an amazing environment, and I’m raising my kids there, and we’ve never left.”
Donovan and Woods share three children: Claire, Lucas and Ethan. According to the actress, raising her children in Colorado is much easier than having children in Los Angeles.
“I find it a little challenging in Colorado, playing at my level of parenting talent,” Donovan said. “If it’s not hard to raise kids in Colorado, that’s where I want to be.”
I Sicario The star continued to gush about her adopted home state, saying, “Colorado, privately, is a sunshine state. A beautiful part of the country that gets more sunshine than maybe Arizona and New Mexico. It’s amazing. So we’re there. And it’s a really healthy lifestyle.”
Donovan isn’t the only star ditching Los Angeles to live a quiet life elsewhere.
“LA was violent back then,” Smallville star Tom Welling he said of moving to North Carolina after the COVID-19 pandemic. “There were no cars on the road, you couldn’t go anywhere. People weren’t leaving their houses. Our first son was just starting to crawl and we had a small stake to play on. There was this thought of, ‘We don’t know if we’re going to be here.’
Welling added, “We have American sport horses, jumpers, and we breed. I’m more than happy to help, but [my wife] he is the captain of that ship. There is peace. And it feels real. “
Modern Family‘s Ty Burrell shared last year that he had left Los Angeles for Utah.
“It’s been a spectacle,” he said of his new life in Salt Lake City. “We moved here after that [Modern Family] it ended, and I don’t regret it. It’s been great and it’s a great place to raise kids.”
Burrell’s on-screen daughter Ariel Winter and left Hollywood to live in peace.
“I just left the city of LA. It has bad memories for me, and I’m young and I’ve never lived anywhere else and I thought, ‘Why?'” he said. “If you’re not on the network you’re shooting, you don’t need to be, and if I get a network, I can easily go back.”
