Trump wants an international coalition to protect the Strait of Hormuz

Iran’s use of the Strait of Hormuz chokepoint for decades in the transportation of oil around the world from the Middle East will end, according to President Donald Trump, and he is rallying the world to free it.
“Many countries, especially those affected by Iran’s attempt to close the Hormuz Strait, will be sending War Ships, in cooperation with the United States of America, to keep the Strait open and safe,” Trump wrote Saturday morning on Truth Social.
Iran closing this road has disrupted the supply of oil to the world, causing the increase in gas prices even in the regions, despite the fact that the US is an oil exporter and receives a small part of its oil from the Middle East. Trump is asking those countries that rely on oil tankers to share the burden of releasing them.
“We’ve already destroyed 100% of Iran’s military capability, but it’s easy for them to send a drone or two, drop a mine, or bring a missile close to some place, or this waterway, no matter how badly they lose,” Trump’s post continued. “We hope that China, France, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and others who are affected by this artificial blockade, will send ships to this area so that the Hormuz Strait will not be a threat again because of the Nation that has been completely cut off.”

Trump has vowed a major campaign to destabilize Iran’s oil tankers that criss-cross the region.
“For now, the United States will be blasting hell off the coast, and continue to shoot at Iranian Boats and Ships in the water,” he concluded. “One way or another, we will soon have the Strait of Hormuz OPEN, SAFE, and FREE!”
Trump added in another Public Truth post five hours later that countries that rely on that oil in the Middle East must take responsibility for it now, too.

“The United States of America has hit and completely destroyed Iran, both Military, Economically, and in all other ways, but the World Countries that get Oil through the Hormuz Strait must take care of that role, and we will help – A LOT!” Trump wrote. “The US will also coordinate with those Countries so that everything goes quickly, smoothly, and smoothly. This was supposed to be a team effort, and now it will be – It will bring the World together in Harmony, Security, and Eternal Peace!”
None of those countries have given any immediate signs that they will do so. In fact, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that both China and Russia are “strategic partners” who support defense against US-led and Israeli aggression.
“That includes military cooperation,” he told MS Now in an interview on Saturday. “I will not include the details of that, good cooperation with these countries, politically, economically, even militarily.”

Araghchi continues a “confused policy,” according to the United Arab Emirates, as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps argues that the crisis will remain closed, while the foreign minister suggests that all countries except the US or Israel will be allowed to pass.
“In fact, the Strait of Hormuz is open,” Araghchi said. “It is closed to tanks only and the ships belong to them[ing] from our enemies, from those who attack us and their supporters. Others are free to pass.”

TRUMP SAYS POINTED TO ‘TREATMENT’ IN KEY IRANIAN OIL STRIKES
Japan interprets its post-war constitution to mean it can send in its troops if the nation’s survival is threatened, but the government would have to use a 2015 security law that has not been implemented.
South Korea’s presidential office said it would make a decision on Trump’s request after “careful review.”
France wants to consolidate the alliance to secure the security situation once the security situation is stable, while Britain is discussing a number of options with partners to ensure the safety of the ships, officials said.

IRAN WAR HAZARDS TRUMP’S ECONOMY AHEAD OF RUNNING ELECTIONS
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, who succeeded his father who was killed and whom the US and Israel understand is wounded, said the Strait of Hormuz should remain closed.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says the new leader is “disturbed” by the initial strikes that killed his father late last month.
“There is no problem with the new supreme leader,” Araghchi told MS Now. “The system is working.”
