Leeds send officials to investigate Bodo/Glimt star Jens Petter Hauge

Leeds United are now off to scout the Champions League talent, having put Manchester City to the sword earlier this season.
Leeds make big check for UCL star
The Whites are not safe yet in the Premier League. They still have work to do in their last nine games in the hope that their three point gap is enough to finally secure their top flight status.
It would have been worth surviving, too. Daniel Farke has gone from a man under pressure to a man committed to transforming those at Elland Road. The German’s decision to switch to a 5-4-1 formation proved to be a genius move and the catalyst to transform Leeds.
With a trip to face Crystal Palace next, the Leeds boss has the chance to get his side back to winning ways in the Premier League at the right time, having gone four league games without a win.

If nothing changes between now and the last game of the season, Leeds will simply hold their breath against West Ham, who are currently three points behind the Whites and within the relegation zone.
Survival would be a crucial step for all involved at Elland Road. It will end the recent trend of promoted teams going back down, and Sunderland have also helped in this department.
And it would open the door to some impressive reinforcements. This could mean the arrival of players like Troy Parrott or a Champions League star.
According to TeamTalk, Leeds officials went to check on Jens Petter Hauge when his team Bodo/Glimt pushed Sporting Club to one side in the first leg of the Last 16 of the Champions League.
Hauge got the redemption he deserved in Norway
Hauge’s redemption arc is one AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt certainly didn’t see coming after failing to make a mark in Italy and Germany, but Bodo/Glimt won’t be complaining.
3 years after leaving Leeds as colossal flop, £20m star is better than Ampadu
With Ethan Ampadu fit, it wasn’t long before Leeds United lost their best player.
The seven-goal striker, who can play on both wings and as a number 10, has been excellent for the Norwegians since his return and is now on course for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Bodo’s 3-0 win over Sporting in midweek was just the latest in a string of impressive results. Before that, they knocked Inter Milan out of the competition and beat Pep Guardiola’s Man City in the league stage.
As Man City were left stunned in Norway, Hauge was in the lead – scoring one of his three goals, creating three chances and winning six goals. He was everywhere.
Since then, he has also scored against Inter and assisted against Sporting. If recent form isn’t enough to convince Leeds to make a move then nothing much will. He will be a great player.
