The Unexpected Hunter Is Ordered Not To Sleep In Bella’s House

The unexpected star Hunter Johnson he was ordered by the court not to sleep with his girlfriend Bella Vaughnat home.
According to court documents obtained by Us WeeklyHunter’s father, Casey Johnsonfiled for full custody of her son, now 14, in April 2025. Casey said Hunter’s mother, Stacie Riddleit created an “unstable and unsanitary environment.”
Seven months later, Casey was granted temporary joint custody of Hunter after she asked the court to dismiss her request for full custody. The judge also ruled in November 2025 that Hunter will no longer be allowed to “live” with Bella, 15, and her family, or be able to live in her home, according to her father’s request in court.
“No party will allow a small child to sleep in the house of the person they are in love with,” said the temporary custody order. (The court battle is still ongoing.)

Hunter and Bella’s relationship came to light in season 7 of the TLC series as they prepared to welcome son Wes, who was reportedly born in March 2025. In the show, the pair faced disagreements with their family members over Bella’s pregnancy and Hunter’s grades in school as they prepared to become parents. These have been in the headlines because of their small size.
When it premiered in February, Hunter revealed that her father had a strong reaction to the news of Bella’s pregnancy.
“He said I ruined my life,” Hunter said of Casey in the confessional. “I don’t feel like I’ve ruined my life.”
Meanwhile, Bella’s parents, Chris Vaughn again Falen Vaughnthey took to social media to react to their daughter’s pregnancy which was a mystery.
“I wanted to come here and make a quick video,” Kris shared in a January TikTok video. “Because of all the villains and the instant recognition of women like what I’m going to say on TV as candids, they’re going to make season 7 a hit. It’s going to be a hit. All they’re doing is making us the stars of the show and I’ve got to tell you my royalty check is going to get fatter.”
Before giving birth, Bella revealed in a January TikTok video that her boyfriend was 12 when they conceived their son. Bella said Hunter turned 13 a few days after the pregnancy.
“I understand that it doesn’t make it better. I understand that he was ready for sex sooner than I was, and that’s fine, but I was ready when we had sex,” she said in the video. “You can stop saying that it is illegal and that I raped her because I did not rape her, it was intentional, people on both sides have said that.
Bella continued, “I didn’t ruin Hunter’s life, I gave up, when I found out I was pregnant, I gave him a choice, I said, ‘if you can’t do this or you don’t want to be here, that’s fine. He chose to stay with me. He chose to take care of our child.'”
